Radish came away with the stitches, a nasty case of all over road rash and some bruised ribs. He's stiff and sore today, but otherwise fine. When the nurse asked him if he cried, he said "No. I didn't cry. But I screamed really loudly."
We're housebound for a couple of days, healing and resting. I'm wiped out.
In an effort to figure out exactly what we are eating and whether or not it's healthy, I'm logging my family's evening meal every night for a month or longer. My family includes a husband who works late and three kids, D- age 9, Radish - age 6 and Lulu - age 2. Although I enjoy cooking, dinner is often on the run, shortcuts are taken, nutrition is ignored.
Let's see how bad I really am. Go ahead and judge.
Edited 1/08. Now that I've been working on this diligently for more than 6 months, I'm taking a break and posting less frequently. For additional recipes and information, check out The Ramen Chronicles

How is he feeling now? How are you? He looks like he's not upset anymore in the picture. Hope this is the last trip to the ER ever for you!!!
Thanks Denise & Amanda for the kind thoughts.

Okay, so it's not funny that he got hurt, but I laughed at the, "No, but I screamed really loudly," comment. What personality!
